Another day, another frustrating predicament. I swear, I just bought/got/acquired a new lock last month and now I'm unable to enter my own apartment! I've tried every tactic I know. The spare key is, of course, missing. I even examined nearby for a possible window, but no luck. At this point, I'm just fuming/frustrated/aggravated. Maybe it's time to invest in a smart lock system...
Dude! Keys Inside, Car Outside! ????
Well, this completely happened to me yesterday. I was walking back to my car after meeting a friend and realized that I forgot my keys inside! My mouth dropped because, you know, the windows were all locked. It was a complete nightmare!
- I struggled to open the window, but it was impossible.

It happened so fast. I was/I had been/I'd been getting the mail and just for a second/momentarily/in a flash, I completely forgot about my keys .
